A woman was fined and ordered to be deported from the United Arab Emirates for breaching her husband’s privacy by checking his cell phone to see if he was cheating on her, Gulf News reported on Wednesday.
海灣新聞週三報導，一名女子因檢查丈夫手機以查看他是否欺騙她而侵犯到他的隱私，遭到罰錢且勒令自阿拉伯聯合大公國驅逐出境。
The unnamed Arab expatriate was fined 150,000 dirhams by the criminal court in the emirate of Ajman, the English-language newspaper said.
該份英文報說，這位不具名的阿拉伯外籍人士被阿治曼酋長國刑事法院罰了15萬迪拉姆。
Her lawyer told the paper she had accused her husband of having an affair. She admitted she had accessed his phone without his permission and transferred photos to her device, the lawyer added.
她的律師告訴該報，她已控訴他先生在外有染。該律師補充說道，她承認未經允許就取用他的電話並把照片傳到自己的裝置上。
The husband lodged a complaint with the court which convicted her on Thursday last week under a cyber crime law which penalizes "the invasion of privacy of another person" using information technology, the paper said.
該報說，這名丈夫向上週四依處罰使用資訊科技「侵入他人隱私」之網路犯罪法而定她罪的法院提出控告。
It said the couple were in their 30s but gave no other information. （Reuters）
