A Maumee teen is behind bars after police say he beat a puppy to death in a violent altercation both inside and outside his apartment.
警方表示，（美國俄亥俄州）茂米的一名青少年在一場發生於他的公寓內外的激烈爭吵中，將一隻幼犬毆打致死。該青少年因此坐牢。
Alexander Bigelow, 19, is facing charges of cruelty to animals, criminal damaging, and assault as a result of the Tuesday, Aug 9 incident at Hidden Cedar Condominiums, 6201 Garden Road.
因為這起在8月4日週二發生於花園路6201號的希登西達公寓的事件，19歲的亞歷山大．畢格羅面臨虐待動物、刑事傷害與攻擊等指控。
According to a Lucas County Sheriff’s Office report, Bigelow had been dog-sitting for another teen when he began beating the 15-week-old pit bull puppy. His roommate awoke to hear the dog barking, witnessed the beating and tried to tell Bigelow to stop.
根據魯卡斯郡警長辦公室的報告，畢格羅是在幫另一名青少年照顧狗時，開始毆打這隻15週大的鬥牛梗幼犬。他的室友醒來聽到狗叫，目擊到他打狗與企圖叫畢格羅住手。
In return, Bigelow began to punch his roommate before fleeing outside the apartment and smashing both mirrors on the car of a female victim.
但畢格羅卻開始痛毆室友，然後逃到公寓外，砸爛一名女性受害者車子的兩個後視鏡。
Bigelow then called the dog’s owner to pick up her dog. When she took the puppy to the vet, the pit bull was pronounced dead.
畢格羅接著打電話叫狗主人來牽狗。女狗主把狗送到獸醫院，鬥牛梗就被宣告死亡。
