The first drive-through pharmacy in Britain has opened in a former McDonald’s store.
英國首間得來速藥局，已經在一家麥當勞舊址內開幕。
The pharmacy, operated by Boots, aims to fill prescriptions in two minutes while customers wait with their motors running.
這家由Boots經營的藥局，目標是2分鐘內開好處方，讓顧客車子等待時不用熄火。
The company says it is targeting busy mothers who don’t want to get their children in and out of the car and commuters who need to pick up their drugs without delay.
這家公司表示，其針對的是不想帶著小孩上下車子的忙碌母親，以及需要不拖延地拿到藥物的顧客。
Drive-through pharmacies are a common sight in the U.S. where there are around 3,000 across the country.
得來速藥局在美國很普遍，全美各地約有3000家。
Boots says it will roll out the service to more locations here if the pilot in Colchester proves a success.

The branch uses the familiar burger restaurant format. The customer drives up to one window, places their order, then moves forward to a collection point.
