Some people might exaggerate the better points of their career and personality on their CV. But outright lying might bring about embarrassing outcome.

One man claimed to have "mastered the piano" at 15 and, considering his new role had nothing to do with music, thought his fabrication would simply act as an impressive addition.
有一位男士宣稱自己15歲就「精通鋼琴」。他心想，反正新職務跟音樂八竿子打不著，捏造事實只是要讓人留下印象。
But after he had been accepted, his bosses asked him to play for the board of directors. Oh dear!
然而，在他錄取後，他的上司卻希望他在董事會上表演。天啊！
The man’s friend, Javier Acosta, let the world know about his pal’s plight by tweeting the short tale. Some people just laughed. But most users had ideas to maneuver the situation.
這名男士的朋友哈維爾．阿寇斯塔，在推特上發文述說這則小故事，讓所有人了解好友面臨的困境。有些網友笑開懷，但多數人提供巧妙的解決辦法。
Many offered the simple solution of feigning injury. Being admitted to hospital or conjuring up a fake cast would do it. The discussion was frantic. Not every idea was sound, really. But a solution was found： Carpal tunnel syndrome, which causes pain and numbness in your hands.
