Vacationers should avoid transacting their online business on computers that are not their own. The user has no way of knowing whether the computer is properly protected against viruses and worms. Otherwise a computer could potentially be hiding spyware that forwards passwords and ID codes on to swindlers, warns the German Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology（BSI） .
德國聯邦資訊安全局（BSI）警告，度假的人應避免在非自有電腦上進行線上交易。使用者無法得知這部電腦是否有預防電腦病毒及蠕蟲入侵的妥善防護。此外，電腦中也可能暗藏間諜程式，會將密碼及身分代碼轉寄給歹徒。
The user does not know how much value the internet provider places on security. Any sensitive data should be transmitted in encrypted form only.
使用者並不知道網路供應商有多重視安全。任何敏感的資料都應該用加密的形式傳遞。
The BSI recommends storing data for online purchases and bookings on external storage media or printing them out. This allows for later auditing and proofing how transactions were performed.
BSI建議，要將線上購物及訂位（票）的資料另外存在儲存媒介或列印出來，以後才能對交易的流程進行稽核校對。
The agency also recommends regularly inspecting account activity and setting a daily limit for monetary transactions for online banking.
該局也建議要經常檢查帳戶的動靜，並設下線上金融交易的每日金額限制。
To prevent subsequent users from examining your data, all personal information should be carefully deleted once the browsing session is finished. This includes the browser’s history directory and the "Sent Messages" folder on email programs.
為防止後來的使用者檢視你的資料，每次瀏覽網頁結束後，都要仔細刪除個人資料，包瀏覽器的舊紀錄資料匣以及電郵軟體的「寄件備份匣」，都要清乾淨。
新聞辭典
transaction：交易；業務；買賣。A record is kept of all the firm’s transactions.（公司的所有交易都有紀錄。）
worm：蠕蟲、寄生蟲。All the apples had worms in them.（這些蘋果裡都有蟲。）電腦中的「蠕蟲」 就像病毒是一段程式碼，設計目的是在電腦之間複製它本身，透過掌控電腦上可傳輸檔案或資訊的功能自動進行複製。
subsequent：後來的。The problem will be discussed in subsequent chapters. （這個問題將在後面幾章討論。）
