The news of Miami Marlins’ Jose Fernandez’s death hit one of his fans especially hard, because less than 24 hours earlier, she got to meet her favorite baseball player.
美國職棒大聯盟邁阿密馬林魚隊投手荷西．費南德茲的死訊，讓他的1名球迷格外心痛，因為在不到24小時之前，她才跟這位她最喜歡的職棒球員見面。
Cristina Llanes, 20, was on cloud nine Saturday afternoon after a big surprise — meeting Fernandez at Marlins Park.

The Miami pitcher was killed Sunday in a boating accident along with two other people.

Cristina, a huge Marlins fan, used to go watch the team play with her father. A debilitating disease, however, has really taken its toll and made it difficult for her to make it out to any games.
馬林魚鐵粉克莉絲汀娜過去總跟父親一起去看該隊出賽，但因罹患導致身體虛弱的疾病，讓她很難再出門看比賽。
On Saturday, thanks to a Make-a-Wish program, Miami Fire Rescue crews transported Cristina for the surprise of a lifetime.
拜「許願計畫」之賜，邁阿密消防救難隊員週六為了這個畢生驚喜負責運送克莉絲汀娜。
"It was a huge surprise. I didn’t expect that at all," said Cristina. "It was a huge experience. It felt like a dream come true."

But after a day filled with so much joy, like so many fans, Cristina woke up to the devastating news of Jose’s death.
