A 66-year-old British grandmother with a taste for marijuana casserole was spared jail despite admitting she had shared cannabis-laced cookies with fellow pensioners.

英國一名嗜好焗烤大麻的六十六歲老奶奶，雖然承認把大麻餅乾分給同伴們吃，卻免於牢獄之災。

Patricia Tabram said she uses cannabis to alleviate pains in her neck and back, and pleaded guilty to possession of the drug with intent to supply.

派翠西亞‧塔布蘭說，她利用大麻來減輕頸部跟背部的疼痛，對於持有毒品並有散佈之意圖的罪嫌，也坦承自己有罪。

But Judge David Hodson said he would not make a “martyr” of her when she returned to Newcastle Crown Court for sentencing. Instead, she received a six-month suspended prison sentence.

The white-haired, bespectacled granny was unrepentant, and said she would keep cooking with pot.

Dictionary-新聞辭典

sentence：法律專有名詞，指「判決」或「刑罰」。例如，死刑就是death sentence。

unrepentant：形容詞，意指不知悔改的。unrepentant sinners就是不知悔改的罪人。
