A total of 7,000 concert tickets for South Korean girl group Mamamoo sold out three minutes after they were released on tixCraft’s Web site at noon on Saturday, the ticketing site said.

Mamamoo embarked on their “My Con” world tour on Friday, with Seoul as its first stop.

The group is to play at National Taiwan Sport University’s Multipurpose Gymnasium in Taoyuan’s Gueishan District （龜山） on Jan. 14.

The South Korean girl group recently released their 12th EP, Mic On, which their world tour is named after.

Another South Korean girl group Blackpink announced in August that it would hold a concert in Kaohsiung in March next year as part of their Born Pink World Tour that began in Seoul on Oct. 15.

Blackpink’s Kaohsiung concert is to be their second appearance in Taiwan after their last performance in Taipei in 2019.

Blackpink released The Album in 2020, the group’s first full-length album since their debut. The creation received Album of the Year nominations at South Korea’s 2020 Melon Music Awards and the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Tickets for Dutch DJ Hardwell’s concert at Dajia Riverside Park in Taipei on Dec. 18 went on sale on Wednesday on ticketing Web site KKTIX.

The event is a comeback performance for the DJ after a four-year hiatus.

He played in Taiwan for the first time in 2016, when tickets to see him were sold out within three days. He also collaborated with Taiwan’s queen of Mando-pop Jolin Tsai （蔡依林）, releasing the single We Are One.
