President George W. Bush may be burdened with many problems, but his pockets are pretty light.
喬治．Ｗ．布希總統也許因為面臨許多難題而背負沉重負擔，但是他的口袋卻相當的輕。
When the reporter from La Nacion asked Bush to show him what he carries, the president stood up,fished in his pockets, then dramatically pulled his hands out holding nothing but a white handkerchief that he waved playfully in the air.
當國家報記者要求布希向他展示身上帶了什麼東西時，總統站起身來，把手伸入口袋撈取，然後戲劇性地掏出手來，嬉戲似的揮一揮，手中只見一條白手帕。
"Es todo (That'a all),'' Bush told the Spanishspeaking reporter, meaning the handkerchief was all. "No dinero (money), no wallet.''
「就是這些，」布希告訴這名說西班牙語的記者，意謂他口袋裡只有這條手帕。「沒有錢，沒有皮夾。」
The Argentine reporter, who interviewed Bush at the White House with other journalists from the Latin American media in advance of a presidential trip to Latin America later this week, asked the president if he even had a watch. Bush thrusted out his wrist to show off a timepiece that had his middle initial, W, on the face. "But I'm not supposed to be endorsing products.''
在布希總統本週稍後將訪問拉丁美洲之前，這名與其他來自拉丁美洲的媒體人一起在白宮訪問布希的阿根廷記者，詢問總統是否有手錶。布希伸出一個手腕，展示一只錶面上有他的中名字母縮寫W的手錶。「但我可不是要幫產品背書。」
