Rodrigo Duterte, the Philippines president, have compared himself to Hitler, saying he would be "happy to slaughter" million drug users and peddlers in the country. During a press conference in Davao City, Duterte told reporters that he had been compared to a "cousin of Hitler" by his critics.
菲律賓總統羅德里戈．杜特蒂將自己比擬為希特勒，聲稱他很「樂意屠殺」國內數百萬名吸毒者和毒販。在達沃市的一場記者會上，杜特蒂告訴記者，批評者將他比做「希特勒的表弟」。
"If Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have..." Duterte said, pausing and pointing to himself. "Hitler massacred three million Jews ... there’s three million drug addicts （in the Philippines）. I’d be happy to slaughter them." he said.
「如果德國有希特勒，菲律賓就有…」杜特蒂話說至此停頓了一下，然後指向自己。「希特勒屠殺300萬名猶太人…現在有300萬名吸毒者（在菲律賓）。我很樂意屠殺他們。」 他說。
"You know my victims. I would like （them） to be all criminals to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition." Duterte added. According to historians, more than six million Jews were killed by the Nazis during the second world war.
杜特蒂還說，「你們知道我的受害人。我要（他們）全部成為罪犯，以解決我國的問題，並拯救下個世代免於滅亡。」歷史學家指出，在二次世界大戰期間有超過600萬名猶太人遭納粹殺害。
His comments were quickly condemned by Jewish groups. Rabbi Abraham Cooper, head of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Digital Terrorism and Hate project, called them "outrageous". He said, "Duterte owes the victims （of the Holocaust） an apology for his disgusting rhetoric."
他的評論隨即遭到猶太團體譴責。「賽門威森塔爾中心」數位恐怖主義與仇恨專案負責人亞伯拉罕．庫珀說，這些言論「可恥」。他表示：「杜特蒂的言論令人作嘔，他欠（大屠殺的）受害者一個道歉。」
