The man who was once engaged to the runaway bride has gotten married _ to another woman.

John Mason, 35, married Shelley Martin, 34, in a quiet ceremony at his parents’ home in Duluth, Georgia, his father, Claude Mason, told People magazine for a story posted on its Web site.
People雜誌網路版報導指出，35歲的約翰．梅森的父親克勞德．梅森告訴該雜誌，約翰已在位於喬治亞州杜魯司的父母家舉行的一場秘密婚禮中，迎娶34歲的雪莉．馬汀。
"We were very, very happy for him," said Claude Mason, who serves as an associate municipal judge and officiated the ceremony.

John Mason was thrust into the spotlight in 2005 when then-fiancee Jennifer Wilbanks disappeared just days before their wedding. She turned up a few days later in New Mexico and initially claimed she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted. She later recanted, saying she ran away because of personal issues.
