Apple agreed to pay $95 million in cash to settle a class action lawsuit claiming that its voice-activated Siri assistant violated users’ privacy.
蘋果已同意支付9500萬美元現金，在1宗集體訴訟案上達成和解，該案宣稱其聲控助理Siri侵犯使用者的隱私。
Mobile device owners complained that Apple routinely recorded their private conversations after they activated Siri unintentionally, and disclosed these conversations to third parties such as advertisers.
行動裝置持有人指控，蘋果經常在他們無意間啟動Siri後，記錄他們的私人對話，並將這些對話透露給第三方，比如廣告商。
Two plaintiffs said their mentions of Air Jordan sneakers and Olive Garden restaurants triggered ads for those products. Another said he got ads for a brand name surgical treatment after discussing it with his doctor.
