An all-girl pop group’s lyrics criticizing the ruling Liberal Democratic Party have hit a sour note with the Yamato municipal government.
一個純女子流行樂團體因在歌詞中批評執政的自民黨，讓（日本神奈川縣）大和市政府很不高興。
The city said it will issue an after-the-fact retraction of its support of a local event where idol group Seifuku Kojo Iinkai （Uniform improvement committee） sang, "Let’s topple the LDP government" and "the LDP, the root of all evil."
市府表示，會在事後撤回原本對一場當地活動的支持。偶像團體「制服向上委員會」在該活動上大唱歌詞中有「推翻自民黨」、「自民黨是萬惡淵藪」等字句的歌曲。
Yamato officials said the lyrics went against the city’s criteria for providing support to public events. The city provides nominal support to organizations and events that are not related to religious groups or specific political organizations.
大和市府官員表示，這些歌詞違反市府在支持公開活動時的標準。該市府只對與宗教團體或特定政治組織無關的機構與活動，提供名義上的支持。
The event, called "Young people and the state--the right to collective self-defense to think for oneself," was organized by Article 9 Association Yamato no Kai, a citizens group formed to protect the integrity of the pacifist Constitution.
遭市府事後撤回支持的活動，名為「年輕人與國家——自行思考集體自衛權」，主辦單位是以維護日本和平憲法之完整性為宗旨的公民組織「憲法九條大和之會」。
