A Canadian man who was so intoxicated he couldn’t take care of himself left a nearly $100,000 tip on a $7 sandwich, police said.
警方說，一名醉到自己都顧不了的加拿大男子，花7美元買三明治，卻留下一筆將近10萬美元的小費。
Barrie Police in Ontario responded to a bar at 11：30 p.m. Sunday for a 35-year-old Angus man who was too drunk to handle paying his bill.
安大略省巴里市警方週日接獲報案，晚間11時30分到一家酒吧處理一名35歲住在安格斯的男子，這名男子醉到無法自行處理付帳事宜。
The generous drunkard, whose identity was not released, was trying to pay with his credit card and, under the tip amount, wrote $98,931.87, police said.
警方說，這名慷慨的酒醉男子試圖要用他的信用卡付賬，他在小費欄寫下9萬8931.87元。
Luckily for him his credit card was rejected. Unluckily for the waitress said she received no tip.

Officers determined he was too drunk to take care of himself and took him to the police station.

Police then determined the man was on release conditions from another charge and was not to consume alcohol.
